Actiontrax is proud to announce our new Adventure Bike Practice Tracks.
No Enduro bikes whizzing past, just Adventure Bikes and Rally Bikes on a course specially laid out to suit larger machines. The venue is our Penshurst site, about 15 minutes northwest of Tunbridge Wells. This is an absolutely fantastic venue that we will only have access to once in 2023 – it provides both open stubble fields and woodland with many interesting features and well marked ‘easy’ and ‘hard’ routes.
The course will be clearly laid out, with riders circulating in a single direction. The course will be open between 10am-3pm, ride as much or as little as you like, and stop wherever you like around the course (making sure you pull off the track), to watch the fun, pick up some tips, or just have a break.
An instructor from our training partner rallyadventurebike.com will be on site all day to provide encouragement and riding advice. There will be marshalls around the course to ensure courteous riding, and a medical team in attendance. We are also hoping to have a refreshments van, but please bring your own lunch / snacks / drinks just in case.
So whether you ride a BMW 1250 GS Adventure, Ducati Multistrada, a KTM 790 Adventure, Yamaha T7, a KTM 690, Husqvarna 701, a modified Rally Bike, or anything in between, this is the event for you. Where else can you ride a specially laid out course on private ground in the company of like minded riders??
Fuel is available nearby so please don’t feel you need to turn up with a full tank and a load of unnecessary weight. We will have a pump and air pressure gauge available for anyone who would like to adjust their tyre pressures, and somewhere secure to jettison any luggage / layers not needed whilst riding off-road.
We recommend tyres that are rated 50/50 (on-road / off-road) or more, but this will be a personal decision based upon bike, ability, and weather – we have booked sunshine!
